School Clinic
School is visisted by expert doctors.
Students suffering from infectious diseases such as Conjuctivitis, Dermatitis, Scabies etc should not be sent to the school until they have fully recovered.
Students suffering from chronic diseases like Asthma, Epilipsy, Rheumatic Heart Diseases etc are adviced to be under continuous medical supervision of a doctor, who is specialist in the oncerned field. History of their illness must be filled up in the Almanac, along with the treatment and the name of medicines prescribed by the concerned doctor.
Parents are also advicd to keep the school clinic informed of any medical/health problem, which may have developed during the academic year.
The parents must fill up the medical history of the student in the space provided in the almanac.
Parents are requested to impart health education to their children. This is important so that they: -
- Maintain prsonal hygiene such as trimming of nails and being neat on regular basis.
- Exercise regularly.
- Sleep for at least eight hours daily.
- Have balanced diet, nutrionally rich in proteins and milk.
- Drink water, which is either boild or filtered. All students are advised to bring their on water bottles from home.
- Avoid consumption of ice creams, other milk products and eatables from roadside venders and kiosks.
